Looking Back: NIHA-Canada National Championships History
From 2002 - 2008, NIHA-Canada held an annual National Championship that took place at the end of the summer inline hockey season. The Nationals tournament was held across Canada, with each of NIHA-Canada’s Provincial Branches rotating hosting duties.
In 2009, the Nationals event was cancelled due to the partnership NIHA-Canada created with State Wars in order to provide the most exciting tournament experience for our members. 2009 marked the FIRST TIME a Canadian team attended State Wars, with Provincially selected teams coming from BC, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario!
Today, we look back at the Nationals event and remember the past Champions in all age categories, at all locations!
